Sudden Cyborg
"Lets consider this: what if i chop off your finger? Would you be able to say that that piece of meat is actually you? What if instead of the finger i beheaded you or pluck off your heart? Can you point out where exactlty dwells that strange entity who states "i am"? Thats the premise of the Ship of Theseus Experiment."
A clairvoyant told me once
I'd last longer than most of the people
Days went by... (hard times).
I used to be just a solitary loser
My life sucked in many ways
Unpleasant feelings of suicide.
One rainny night, disturbing silent thoughts
I came across an old friend
"Im gonna set you up", he said, "to change your life".
Everything happened so fast
Ive made a deal with that practitioner from the depths of hell
Underground Medicine - clandestine.
I've got nothing left to lose
Then underwent a surgery
Replacing nerves and organs, pieces and parts
Quiet chaos and suddenly
I tear the delicate tissue of reality
A strange light pierced my mind.
Tell me please,
I beg you.
Am i cursed or blessed?
Im half machine and organic matter
Fighting the maximum decay.
Now i can feel,
From that stunning perspective
Desire and ignorance
The root of misery.
Far beyond the skies,
It's drawn the silver line.
I cannot be sublime
If im encaged!
My last hope lies on
Leaping out the cycle of pain.
Eternal void untill i born again...
Shocking waves
Through my nerves
I am super-conscious.
Im a half machine against the cosmic terror of the non-existence.
